FOCUS OF INTENSIVES WILL INCLUDE:-
- Teaching the pupil the means whereby.
- Self-work and creative positions of mechanical advantage while using the hands.
- How to use the hands gently while giving clear direction to the primary control.
- How to place hands on the primary control to demonstrate: - 'let the neck be free, to let the head balance forward and up on the neck, to let the back lengthen and widen'.
- How teach & demonstrate inhibition, non-doing and direction-sending (to the primary control) in all daily life activities and interactions i.e., when standing, sitting, reciting or public speaking; while putting hands on the back of a chair or picking up a musical instrument, doing a lunge; or when meeting the unexpected!
The workshop will involve teachers / third year trainees working in pairs. Diana will give instructional guidance to each participant. The environment will cultivate attention and will be peaceful, mindful and supportive.
